Meet the Doctor

Andrew Ascherl, D.C.

Dr. Ascherl moved to Aplington with his wife, Liz, and dog, Cali, in summer of 2014. Both Dr. Ascherl and Liz graduated high school from Sheldon, Iowa. From there, Dr. Ascherl went to the University of Northern Iowa where he received his Bachelor of Science with a minor in chemistry.  

He then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2014, as Salutatorian with honors.  When he is not treating patients, Andrew enjoys golfing, running, watching all Panther and Hawkeye sports, and spending time with his 2 year old twins, Ryan and Allison.

Andrew first became interested in chiropractic following a football injury in the 8th grade.  After a few treatments with his chiropractor, he was back on the field and ready to play again. He has always felt that chiropractic helped him in numerous ways from excelling in sports to relieving pain allowing him to focus in school.  Dr. Ascherl has had the opportunity to fulfill his passion of being a chiropractor, and this passion is reaffirmed every day when he walks into the office to assist his patients with their chiropractic needs.

Dr. Ascherl and his wife chose to start a practice in Aplington and Allison because of the strong values that are evident in this area. Andrew and Liz have always envisioned raising a family in a small town and they are excited to be part of such a strong, vibrant, and welcoming community.
